Already in the 80ies I started to take photos with an old Canon AT-1 - an analogue SLR Camera without any automatic features. The simple technology and expensive film rolls forced me to think precisely what aperture, exposure time, the selected crop and the used film material will do to the picture. I'm happy that I was able to gain this experience.
Since I have been always interested in new technologies, I started to try out digital cameras already at an early stage. Their resolution, dynamic range and sensitivity were quite poor, but the non-existing costs per shot invited to try out a much more experimental and creative approach.
In the meantime, I switched completely to digital photography. With my Nikon Camera, I'm doing photos of landscape, architecture and sometimes events or weddings. For portraits and product photos, professional studio equipment is available.
